A great quick BBQ Chicken Pizza recipe that I’m fairly certain you will try more than once!, preparation time approx. 30-45 minutes. I use a Costco $5 rotisserie chicken, a empty pie crust, and pre-cooked bacon to expedite this process.

Ingredients
- Your favorite empty pie crust – I like either DiGornio ( prefer ) or Trader Joes ( for the price )
- Costco $5 Chicken
- Cooked Bacon ( Try my Baked Brown Sugar Pepper Bacon Recipe! )
- BBQ Sauce (I like Heinz Sweet & Savory BBQ)
- a Dash of Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Olive Oil (for pizza crust edges)
- Red Onion
Steps
- Pre-Heat Oven to 420 Degrees.
- Use approx. 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil and brush on edge of crust.
- For Trader Joe’s crust I use about 2 Tablespoons of Heinz Sweet & Savory BBQ Sauce and spread evenly with the back of a spoon.
- Sprinkle evenly dash of Salt (1/4 teaspoon).
- 1 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese distributed as desired
- Shred about 1 Cup of Costco Chicken and distribute evenly.
- Slice Red Onion into thin 1/8 to 1/4 in thick slices approx. 1 inch long distribute evenly across pizza as desired
- Place in oven for 10 Minutes when 420 Degrees is reached
Soft Crust = 10 Minutes
Slightly Crispy = 12 Minutes
Crispy = 14+ Minutes (note: more burnt on the onions) - Immediately after cooking (for a treat) I tear up my Baked Brown Sugar Pepper Bacon Recipe! or add any cooked bacon.
Takes about 10-15 minutes of prep time + Cook time.
I hope you enjoy it – always love to hear new spins and ideas (if you care to share!) Thanks! =)
